Earthoil Waters® is a new product type – each Earthoil Waters® product is an organic essential oil completely solubilised in pure mountain spring water. Whilst Earthoil Waters® are organic, the process can be adapted to any essential oil or absolute.

Earthoil Waters® products are created without additives, in a novel, proprietary process not requiring any additives. Earthoil Waters® are stable and bacteria free. By comparison with hydrosols, the greater concentration of oils solublised in this process creates products of stronger aroma, and with increased stability.

Earthoil Waters® are new, exciting options for use in a wide variety of personal care and household formulations.

Storage and Shipping

The relatively high concentration of essential oil in each Earthoil Waters® product enhances its keeping properties, as the essential oil acts as a preservative. In their preparation, Earthoil Waters® are micro-filtered to remove bacteria, but no preservative is added.

Incorporation in formulations may necessitate the addition of a preservative for added protection against microbiological contamination, and users should assess that need for themselves.

Storing in drums which are opened from time to time may allow contamination to develop, and clients are encouraged to consider the addition of a preservative on receival, to aid the protection of the Earthoil water against contamination in use.

Earthoil Waters® products should be stored away from heat and light.

Earthoil can provide the Earthoil Waters® products in a variety of package sizes, in High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) drums, or for larger consignments, in 1 tonne “cubi containers” strapped to pallets.
